  • WhatsApp communications are stored within the WhatsApp Business application on our device
  • Project communications and documents are stored in Google Drive
  • We do not store payment card information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. However no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, to complete any active project or retainer agreement, and to comply with our legal obligations. Client project information is typically retained for a period of five years after project completion for record keeping purposes.


9. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With our contracted developer or team members who assist in delivering your project, strictly on a need to know basis and subject to confidentiality obligations

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 you have the following rights in respect of your personal information:

Right of access – you have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Right to correction – you have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information we hold about you.

Right to deletion – you have the right to request that we delete your personal information where we no longer have a lawful basis for processing it.

Right to object – you have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Right to withdraw consent – where we process your information based on your consent you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint – if you believe we have processed your personal information in a manner that does not comply with POPIA you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
